Apple Cider Vinegar Recipe: GInger Tonic

Ginger Tonic


- great hot or cold.





1 cup hot water


1/2 - 1tsp fresh ginger (finely chopped)


2 tbsp fresh lemon juice


pinch of cinnamon


1-2 tbsp Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar


Liquid or powdered stevia or other sweetener (maybe honey) to taste.




mix all ingredients and let them sit for a good 5-10min


Can drink it hot or cold.





Using this as a base, you can create many variations of this drink, for example:


-you can add some freshly ground turmeric (1/2 teaspoon)


-you can add a pinch of warming cayenne pepper


-once cooled, the ginger tonic can be blitzed in a blender with ice and fresh mint



Try preparing a larger quantity and storing it in the fridge - drink over a few days (stir everytime you consume). Makes a great warming soothing drink when hot, and a refreshing energizing drink when cold.
